We started on the South Shore in 1988 as, literally, two separate one-man operations. Back then, our focus was to serve closely-held businesses and their owners throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
Today, we provide high-level tax, accounting, and business advisory services to well over 200 business clients.

Jon Sidoti, CPA
Jon C. Sidoti began his accounting career as an intern with the international accounting firm which today bears the name KPMG. Following graduation from Northeastern University, he joined the audit department, and two years later transitioned to tax.
Working with both large public companies and smaller closely-held businesses, Sidoti enjoyed a wide range of accounting, tax, and business auditing experiences.
"I clearly enjoyed working with closely-held businesses and their owners," says Sidoti.
After KPMG, Sidoti worked with a Plymouth, MA consulting firm, where he became the partner in charge of tax planning. In October 1988, Sidoti founded the firm which has evolved into Sidoti, Tonello & Company, P.C.
Jon lives in Plymouth with his wife Jean and their three children. He is an avid cyclist and loves to ski.
John R. Tonello, CPA, CFP
Building businesses through applying sound foundational structure and leverage has been a lifelong passion for John Tonello. A Sagamore Beach, MA native, John (more commonly known as "Jack") Tonello earned his CPA license from Boston University.
Jack's theory has always been that accounting and asset management should be proactive, not reactive. Growing up around business helped Jack develop a unique understanding of business metrics. This also fueled his passion for assisting the closely-held business owner to see how focusing on the fundamentals of a business will bring success.
Jack has started and run a number of successful businesses in the past 30 years that run the gamut from professional service, to retail, to wholesale. He has an uncanny ability to distill complex issues into understandable applications that his clients can apply every day in their businesses.
Today Jack still makes his home in Sagamore Beach, with his wife Cheryl and their five children and two dogs. He enjoys coaching baseball and basketball.
Bryan Jarnigan, CPA
Bryan Jarnigan was born in Texas but grew up on the South Shore. He earned a degree in Business Management from Northeastern University. After graduating, he worked in the banking industry as a cash management specialist, advising bank clients on cash management services, payroll, and other financial services. After a number of years in that industry, he attended Stonehill College to round out his education in accounting. He joined the firm in 1998, and was certified as a public accountant in Massachusetts in 2003.
Erin M. Doherty
Erin Doherty grew up in Plymouth, MA, but headed out to Hillsdale, MI to earn her B.A. in Christian Studies/American Studies from Hillsdale College. She has had a varied career path, starting out as a journalist covering two small-town newspaper beats, before teaching in a Christian junior/senior high school. Her desire to explore the world and make a difference took her overseas to serve with Mercy Ships (primarily in Sierra Leone) as a teacher and community developer in 2002-2003. Upon returning to the States, she began working for John Tonello in his business firm as an office manager and providing tax support. Her roles later expanded to include payroll supervisor and marketing director. Erin lives in Forestdale, MA, and spends as much of her free time as possible outdoors on Cape Cod. She loves sports, music, and people.
Sheryl J. Manning, CPA
Sheryl Manning, originally from Rockland, MA, earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting) from Newbury College in Brookline, MA. Upon graduation, she began work in the banking industry. Soon after, she gained valuable experience in the finance and accounting industries. Sheryl joined the Sidoti firm in 2001. In 2007 she became a licensed CPA. She, her husband Bob, and their two young children are "hard-core" campers. Today they make their home in Marshfield, MA.
Adrienne Schreibeis
Adrienne Schreibeis is Sidoti, Tonello & Company, P.C.'s Payroll Director. Adrienne works with our payroll clients on a weekly basis to make sure that every payroll need is met. She provides weekly, quarterly and year-end payroll reporting, including payroll tax returns. Adrienne, her husband Rob, and their three children live in Sagamore, MA.
Debra G. Wright
Debra Wright graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas with a B.A. inAccounting.Since then, she has worked in both the public and private sectors, performing tasks ranging from workpaper preparation to corporate tax returns and tax projections. She currently lives in Sandwich with her husband Prescott and their four children. In her leisure time she enjoys hanging out with family, going to the beach, hiking, and heading up to Maine.
